"An Exclusive Preview" By Galeri Ariani

I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to update my blog. With a baby at home now, it took me months to figure out a solid schedule that worked well for us, and I'm still experimenting and tweaking! Hehe. So here’s my first blog post and (as some of you probably already know) with my new appearance! Yes, I’ve made a decision to cover my head… finally. A baby steps towards a better muslimah, InsyaAllah.
OK enough rambling about myself for now.
So last Thursday I was attending Galeri Ariani : “An Exclusive Preview” at DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton. As you know, Ariani is one of those iconic Malaysian brands for headscarves, we all know Ariani and probably at some point, have obsessed over their headscarves.
Several celebrities including Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Wardina Safiyya and Ariani's new ambassador, TV3 personality Nurul Syuhada Nurul Ain.

I dont know what I like more - the colors, the prints, the details, maybe a bit -lot- of everything. Absolutely gorgeous!

Siti Nurhaliza was also elected as Ariani's Icon.

Thanks so much to the Ariani’s team for having me and I can’t wait to see the new collection which will be in store starting from 21st March 2014. Don't miss it darlings, as they'll be having sale too!

Pink Love

The weather is amazing and we’re on our way to soak up some sun and sushi lunch. Here I am, back with a Look of the Day where I get to wear my Topshop dress, Miss Selfridge jacket and Steve Madden heels.

Back In Jeans

Marquis suddenly refused to sit in his stroller while we took these shots so I have to take Mommy-Son outfit of the day photos. Ha ha.

I bought this jacket from Zara a couple months back but have to keep it until I found the perfect skinny jeans to pair with it. Honestly, I have a hard time finding jeans that I like because it’s always overwhelming to the point of being boring to contemplate all the options that are out there these days. And of course they are my least favourite thing to wear when it’s hot out there.

I’m wearing Topshop jeans and Steve Madden heels.

Cloud Chasing

We took these shots last weekend. Could not have asked for more perfect weather, the kind of sunshine makes you want to do a million things at once. I’m wearing denim tie front skirt from The Extra Piece. It has to be the winning piece of the outfit. I love the twisted knot detail at the front of the waistband, super chic! Paired it with a stripy top I bought from Couple Birds, Steve Madden heels and Arared necklace.

My New Accessories

Well, we just got back from the paediatrician for Marquis’s first month vaccination jab this morning. Luckily he was in a good mood after the jab and I can finally took my first outfit post after a long confinement break. So excited! And with him, my new accessories now, of course!

I'm wearing top bought from a random boutique in Vietnam, skirt and vest from Sevendays, Aldo heels.

KLFW 2013

From KLFW last week. Love the loose jacket I got from a thrift store in Jakarta back in June, and the top is yet another perfection from Nanano Collection. Paired them up with hubby’s shirt, Topshop skirt, H&M necklace and Steve Madden heels.

Bellaruddin

My latest favourite designer discovery  Bellaruddin.  Based in Mutiara Damansara, the founder, Nabila, launched the brand designing from custom-made dresses for weddings, engagements and other events to ready-to-wear pieces. Oh and they're also offered service for embellishments (beads and laces) for your ready-made clothes too.

I love her youthful appeal with a modern twist, plus the dreamy palette and the barely-flashy metallic accents that add a hint of glamour to your look. Considering all of that, I am beyond thrilled to bring this fantastic designer to your attention, featuring a few of my favourite pieces from their Jewel and Empire collection. I’ve got myself the Coral Blow in jewel green with mix of sequins, which I love, of course!

The dress was done perfectly and I’m—somewhat impatiently—waiting for Beau to come out, as I can’t wait to wear it! Yes, in my final trimester (I'm roughly the size of a killer whale now) and with almost nothing fit me, I still had avoided having to wear maternity or even one size bigger than my regular clothes. Hahaha.

Anyway be sure to check out their Facebook page here, to shop some of their collection’s standout pieces!

Neon Me

Second day in Cameron Highlands. Took these photos during our usual afternoon tea date.

Ok. I know, I know.

I.am.so.huge.

I’m now in week 31 which means there’s about two months to go, and definitely more kilos of saturated fat will be developed. Sigh. It's really been a process full of challenges. Don't get me wrong, I do love the joy of pregnancy and the feeling of my baby moving but I’m dying to get my pre-pregnancy shape again. Hehe.

Cape from Zara, dress bought from random boutique in Jakarta, and Lyn heels.
