Another '50s Skirt.

Found this wonderful skirt at thrift store yesterday and I can wear it straight away without any alteration... It is perfectly fit me. Oh, I'm currently so obsessed with '50s skirt. Actually I feel guilty if I don't put what I bought from the thrift stores into The Wardrobe. So I decided to sell this skirt since I already have one, which is on my last post. And I'll try my best not to change my mind! :p

We had lunch at a new restaurant, Serai Empire and simply fall in love with their food.

One of my favorite trend on the fall runways: full mid-length skirt. I love the '50s shape and the neutral color of the skirt. I found this one yesterday and I can't wait to wear it as soon as I got home. Usually I've been hemming up most of my skirts and dresses - but for some reason this is different story...

Happy Eid ul-Fitr...

Eid ul-Fitr will be celebrated tomorrow... I'm so into 'Hari Raya' spirit as you can tell from these photos. Hehe. I'm honestly can't wait for the wonderful things that really make me happy during the festival... Dressing up for the days (Which I couldn't have been more excited), traditional 'Raya' food (I'd always eat so much!) and classic 'Raya' songs... Oh dear, they are just make me sooo nostalgic!

Back to the outfits... I've just got my Raya's outfits a few days back. Yay! Though surprisingly I'm not usually wear these type of outfits, but I'm really so obsessed with Malay traditional costumes. Plus, this is the perfect time you can dress up with extra classic-ness. I don't know if that's true or if I just made it up, but it seems like it should be true. :p Anyway, when I got them, I really did try to save them to wear on the day... Only I couldn't wait. Lol! So I just had to wear the outfits and get a photo session with them.

Boyfie's mom gave me this beautiful vintage 'Baju Kurung Songket' that had belonged to her late mother-in law. Definitely one of the best gift ever! :)

And my boyfriend got me those lovely brooches, called 'Kerongsang Sri Ayu', in antique gold plating and studded with Swarovski crystals. I'm wearing them with 'Baju Kebarung'.

Working Day

My boyfriend and I did manage to get a quick photo session in our way to work this morning. It was lovely day, and we found a beautiful spot of sun to take photos in.

Love The Dress.

Do you remember this dress I sold in The Wardrobe a few weeks back? I bought it some time early this year from a random thrift store. It's been sitting in my wardrobe since forever because it was super long dress. So when I'd decided to sell it, I have to change into a shorter dress. And guess what... I really like it! I think I have to wear it even once before it is passed to another person... Hehe.

So here I'm wearing the dress. My boyfriend and I took these last month when we were out. I love the really light fabric and skirt that would flutter in the wind in front of me as I walked. I wore it with a turquoise-ish scarf bought from Robinsons, Diva elephant's head pendant and vintage shoes.

Oh, for people who asked me why they can't view the photos on my blog, The Wardrobe... Forgive me, my Photobucket account had achieved its limited bandwidth. So you haven't been able to view the photos in the past few days or so. Hoping to get it fixed soon with new things are coming. :)

LEWRÉ Spring Summer 2011 Trade Show

Attended my company's Spring Summer 2011 trade show last Tuesday - Held at The Bankers Club Kuala Lumpur.

Oh, my God! I met Jimmy Choo! (Yes, HIM!) It was really wonderful to know this such talented, dynamic and inspiring man... I felt like I am the luckiest girl in the world! :p

The event finished by midnight that day. I've felt giddily happy, overwhelmingly tired and altogether grateful to everyone who made this occasion one of the most memorable moments of my life... Especially the design team, thanks! :)
