Overalls

 There's nothing easier than slipping a pinafore dress that I finally managed myself to wore for the first time since middle school. Most comfortable outfit ever! Paired it up with Arared top, Topshop opaque and wedges from Lyn.

I can't believe I've found a pair of wedges I love this much especially when I'm going to be spending a majority of the time on grass. And I'm pretty sure that these are going to be my favourite shoes for the next few months.

Birthday Getaway

These photos were taken yesterday. We're currently in Cameron Highlands for a quick trip to celebrate my birthday, which is actually today. We’ve just been wanting to get out of the city for a quiet few days... just two of us, before another hectic weekend.

In The Green

These were taken after I got back from my doctor's appointment today. Remember the dramatic rhinestone necklace I’ve mentioned in the previous post? So here it is... I really wanted to keep it wearable and so-me-look, with the idea of wearing it with simple outfit. Borrowed hubby’s Topman t-shirt, my blazer is Topshop, the pants and pumps are from Zara. It just makes things a little bit more fun and reminded me of a kind of Elizabeth Taylor's!

Glamorous Weekend

My nausea is slowly dying down and I am getting some of my energy back. So yay to my first weekend spent in town! The day began with finding the great outfit (pretty darn fancy, I’ll admit), then continued to Markets at Jaya One for some shopping (I got a perfect vintage dress and a dramatic rhinestone necklace that I can’t wait to show you guys...) and had my first ever Brazilian wax (boo!) and finally a proper dinner. It was so hot I can’t imagine wearing more than one uncomfortable item at a time. Not gonna lie, I was limping towards the end there, but I really miss dressing up. I just can’t wait to wear these new Zara pants, Topshop sequins top and the beautiful gold embroidered jacket, and I still can’t believe I found it at a thrift store. The accessories are from Diva and oh the heels, this pair is from Lyn.

Tattletale

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you might have noticed that I’m not posting as much as I used to. Well, I do have a good excuse though… I’m pregnant!!!

Yes, and now that I'm almost at the end of my first trimester and it’s really exhausting! I suffered from bad nausea and was not able to keep anything down. It's been two months since then and I haven't had a normal appetite. I just don't like eating, the smell of food cooking, everything grosses me out. EVERYTHING! And now I have lost about 4 pounds and not only does pregnancy take all of my energy, it also seems to stress me out since I used to love to eat.

I’m hoping that magically one day all my favourite foods will be appealing again (please pray for me!). And I’m so excited about sharing my pregnancy journey with you.

Anyways, I’ll leave you with the shots of our latest trip to Kuantan a few weeks back. I can’t wait to share of more outfit post with the growth of baby bump!

Khoon Hooi Spring/Summer 2013 & Happy New Year

I know, I feel the appropriate amount of guilt for posting these way over a month late. Life has been hectic so I didn’t have anytime to sit down editing and posting all the photos. Anyway, the Khoon Hooi show was sooooo beautiful... I of course loved the dresses with draped pleating at the skirt and also stunning detailing, thick black panelling tops, and the pairing of neon and nude, yes. The freshest take on our local runway, I think we can all agree on this.
