More Cameron Highland's Photos and Happy New Year

These photos were taken on our third day (which was last day) in Cameron Highland. The day ended up being surprisingly warm and sunny. We had an extra lovely day out on the town, visiting and taking photos at Ye Olde Smokehouse. I'm wearing Topshop boobtube top, vintage dress and scarf, Forever 21 floppy hat, Aldo pumps and Mulberry for Target handbag.

So 2011 is coming real soon! It really only hit me this morning, and I'm so slow that I still don't have any proper resolutions planned out. Lol! Anyway, thanks to everybody who takes time to read My Lookbook and thank you to the people who write me such sweet comments, Facebook messages and emails. You guys have made my year really amazing and I hope all of your new years are filled with wonderful things. :)

Tea and Scones

In the afternoon, we drove around the little town of Cameron Highland, where there are the prettiest historic houses along the road. Then we stopped at Bala's Holiday Chalet... Another Tudor-style cottage. It was just wonderful, with its old fading brick walls and its well-kept gardens. Ivy clung to the walls and window panes, while moss and lichen hugged the roof. Everything was lush and green.

The weather and light was quite nice so we decided to have our afternoon tea there. I really love the feeling, it was bliss. Cool temps, an English Tudor setting, verdant green hills, temperate flowers, and plus excellent English scones.

Ain't these lovely? And now, I really fall in love with hydrangea! They will definitely be my wedding bouquet! *Wink*

The Lakehouse

Our second day in Cameron Highland... We went to the lovely Tudor-style boutique resort called The Lakehouse. We toured the inside and the grounds and taking photos when people weren't looking. The weather wasn't the greatest, but the place was lovely nonetheless... Lots of flowers, green grass and plus great architecture. Oooh, I wish I can have this kind of house with this real character and history complete with it's moss-covered stone walls!

Because of the cold temperature here, I did get to wear my new velvet pants that my boyfriend bought for me from a thrift store, and I was surprised it fits me perfectly. I'm pairing it with Topman t-shirt, Mango cardigan, vintage belt, Vincci+ heels and Mulberry for Target handbag.

Post Vacation Blues

It's been the loveliest weekend so far... I just went on a quick vacation to Cameron Highland for the first time. I was so excited! Here are a few sort of mountain-y shots from our first stop, Cameron Bharat Tea Plantation, though honestly I wish I took more photos of the landscape there. It was lovely!
