I’ve finally had time to properly sort through the thousands of photos snapped over the engagement ceremony. So here is a giant batch of the photos (It was really the happiest day I've ever had that deserves a gigantic post). Alhamdulillah, it all went just fine. And the amazing part to have the ceremony done with and to be surrounded by all my favourite people in the world and it was great to be able to talk to people who had come and spend a lot of time with our family and friends, and Zul especially.
As for the decor and 'hantaran', all by Ratio Design (introduced here). Zul and I poured through our collective, treasured references. We reminisced about the images that inspired us - what we loved about them, what we dreamed of turning them into. So we decided to try something uncertain, to aspire to make something beautiful and memorable and slightly surreal and undeniably intimate. And so we made this.
I didn't realized how much work it would be until the day of the ceremony, when we both scrambling around here and there. Luckily we got our friend, Mimi to help us with the 'mini dais', centerpiece, candy buffet and 'hantaran' that turned out to be simple and perfect as how I imagined it to be.

Hantaran from both side
My dress which took me forever to finish the details!
Sitting in the middle of everything.
Am I nervous? Heck yes I am! I was always just nervous about little things and the ceremony itself (did I mention that I'm the most nervous person alive?)
Zul’s mother put on my ring.
I'm not a big ring person, but this ring is PERFECT. Nothing more, nothing less...
Love this photo snapped with my two adorable kittens.

With my mom and little brother
We took these right after the ceremony at the old library building in town. We'd been there a few times for blog photos and fell in love with it a little more each time we visited. It's really the most beautiful place I can think of in Seremban.
I managed to made my bouquet in ten minutes flat before I went to bed the night before.
