Perfect Day in Melaka

Last Friday my boyfriend and I decided to get out of the city and take a day trip to Melaka. I've been wanting to go there ever since our last trip in January, and it was so nice to revisit all my favourite spots: my favourite Asam Pedas restaurant and of course thrift stores! In the evening, we walk around the town, which was just amazing, and Jonker Walk at night. Driving back home, I couldn't stop smiling! I loved every minute of it.

P.S: As many of you are already know, we will spend the weekend at Stellar for a charity event. And guess what? Tongue in Chic will be coming to take style shots for the day. Dress Shop Love at Stellar

Come and support us to gain fund for our dearest Leonie. She was diagnosed from cancer since July 2010 and needs help on funding her chemotherapy treatment. What we can do is, making donations and praying for her. Thanks to Aishah for organizing a bazaar and a lovely acoustic night, also Bono for the venue. I can't think of anything better than shop and do good at the same time as well as enjoying live music by these two wonderful and talented Reza Salleh and Liyana Fizi.

A Journey Through Style

Last Thursday, I was invited to a fashion show previewing Eidul-Fitr collection from four talented Malaysian designers - Syomir Izwa, Rico Rinaldi, Nurita Harith and PU3.

I'm sure you'll agree that this piece is quite simply gorgeous!

For your information, I am a HUGE Syomir Izwa fan, so being invited to the show was like a big highlight for me. I loved this collection, the look was so fresh, so flowy with full of colours and amazing details. I could definitely see myself wearing few pieces from this collection (If only I could afford them!)

We had a great weekend, though a tiring one, but all in a good way. Well after a fairly hectic weeks so far, Urbanscape on last Saturday, The Vintage Market this coming Saturday 23rd, and Dress Shop Love at Stellar on 30th. No pop-up shop after that since Ramadhan fasting begin by early August.

Arared at Urbanscape

You see, once I post the sneak peek pictures, I've got so many feedback (and advance orders too!) through Facebook and email about the collection. I know it’s hard to stop thinking about all the new pieces coming into the store. So to get you just as excited as I am, I'm bringing you Arared's pieces at the Urbanscape this coming Saturday, July 16th! Be prepared to have your own of our first collection: tops, skirts, dresses, palazzo pants jumpsuit, and statement necklaces. And the pieces that everyone keep asking me about? Well it would be the kimonos.

And don't forget, we're still have our vintage pieces and this time,we bring loads of beautiful dresses!
